Frolic

Hello my sweet Peeps! I've been so busy here between Dr.s appts. and the new Kitty.
He was neutered and chipped yesterday, all went very well. Had to keep an eye on him all afternoon to make sure he didn't aggravate the stitches.
...I've been stitching on the tablecloth but was very much wanting to sew too. So I took out my Frolic bag and starting working on it. I have all my parts cut. All my blocks are sewn, next is the sashings. Then I'll assemble the hst's for the borders..
I started this quilt when it was a mystery a few years ago..but when it was said to be put on point I caved and bagged everything up and put it away.
I won't be setting it on point, though it will have sashings and cornerstones.
I'm sure I'll be done in time for the new Mystery.
Here are the pics.

Just needs the 2 Final borders ....

Life does get in the way of blogging.
I'm on another high blood pressure med which needs to be checked this month (September).
Then a mammogram after that this month (September)
Kitty is growing soo fast. full of energy and such a love bug. All the Ladies at the Vets office fell in love with him.
He is strictly an indoor Kitty as there are predators outside like bears, coyotes, Fisher cats, Fox, etc..etc...
Well, time to go cook, as they have to eat everyday!!
Thank you for visiting!

I'm linked to Midweek Makers

  1. What fun to have a new Kitty. Glad your Flolic got to come out to play. My rule is that if I have a current Bonnie Hunter mystery not finished that I don't get to start another. All of my Bonnie Hunter quilts are finished right now except for one!!! I plan to participate in the mystery this year. I will be working on my Unity quilt in September to get it to the finish. Good luck with your blood pressure appointment. We need to keep up on that stuff.
