Triple Treat L/E

Here's my fini Triple Treat L/E from several years ago that I just quilted. Totally scrappy.

  Pattern by Bonnie Hunter of Quiltville.
  Just fini the scrappy binding. 


The backing is made up from 2 pieces of fabric leftover from previous quilts.


The red fabric is from the backing of Indigo Way and the other fabric is a Jason Yenter from my Cheddar Bow Ties quilt.
 
  I told my hubby to stand underneath the tree because it's better to take pics in the shade. 
   
  It's not very big, but good for your lap while watching TV. Forgot to measure it!

    Thanks for the visit to my blog and comment on my recent double/triple?? 4 patch. Yes, I also downloaded the pattern above that you have just completed. Despite what looks like a "hard" quilt, it is not difficult at all and sure makes great use of leftovers! Yours is lively and beautiful - the border is PERFECT! Wish I had thought of it - mmm maybe for the next one. 8-)))

For this Sundays' stitching I was going through my things and found this towel. Didn't even know I had it. Don't remember buying it. Love the Pumpkin & Crow design. Design by Bird Brain. Here are a few of my past weeks stitcheries. I've been trying to keep busy and keep my mind of of Morgan who died July6th. I've been sewing Bonnie Hunters' free pattern Pineapple Blossom. Also as I made the quilt I made blocks to the L/E Challenge Triple treat. This little quilt will go in one of the cars as it's small. I'll load it on the beast today to quilt. Sunday Stitching

My Hexie project is almost done! On my last round now. It is a table topper for my Dining room table. It is 40" across....Not sure how to back it, haven't gotten that far yet. I'll have to google it to find out. But it is my Sunday stitching for today.  My $2.00 Harbor Freight box comes in handy. Our furbaby. Morgan (As in Captain Morgan because of his eye patch) is 17 yrs. old and he is a Love Muffin.💖 I am linked to  Slow Sunday Stitching Quilting is more fun than Housework Thank you for visiting. Hand Stitching & A Fini

Hello my Sweet Peeps!  It's Sunday already. I have a few things to show. Hand stitching patterns, a finished quilt & a new block. This is what I'll be stitching today:   Aren't they sweet? This is Oklahoma Back Roads: I chose an Apple Green border & binding. This is the backing: I quilted it with a multi colored thread by King Tut which is impossible to see. Ha. ................................................ If you visited my previous blog you have seen our new driveway.  Which we needed desperately. The old one looked like an ole hump back mare! It will be so much easier for my Husband to snow blow now. They did a great job. ................................................ Morgan is still sick & won't eat. Time to take him back to the Vet. The medicine calmed him down greatly, he no longer seems distressed which is something. Here he is in his favorite spot to nap when he's down here with me. In front of my foot pedal.
